I think life throws the ball like a Hail Mary – long distance pass – we are the receivers and have to keep running to keep up with the ball. If we keep running we will meet the ball right on time:-)! Sometimes, however, I feel like I AM RUNNING MY LEGS OFF! But Galatians 6:9 keeps me going. Thanks, Pastor Steve, for your words of encouragement.

A great and timely message Dr./Pastor/Brother Steve. Marcia and I have had more times than we can count that we wanted to quit but like the desciples when Jesus asked them if they would quit, where would we go and what would we do. God never fails soon after making the decision that quiting is not an option that he does something great to remind us that we are doing His will and He in control.
PS We could have had the same dad!!!

It is a delight to hear from you again Pastor David, bessings upon you and your family. That is a refreshing and needed word for us in the Body of Christ for the time of great transition. opportunity, and ressing toward that mark. God’s authority for authentication, validation and vision is a must for this. I also believe 1 Peter 5:10 is the process of getting to that place.

Keep speaking the annointing word with the zeal, knowlwdge, and love that you walk with and in.

Wow! Zeal offends the offenders! That’s what Jesus did. That is “speaking the TRUTH in love,” and setting the course aright. We will have much more opportunity for this from now on because of the lack of respect for God and godliness that permeates our society more and more. We needed this reminder, Pastor David.

Pastor Steve, I love these chats you have with us! I may not be a “young” woman; but I have a fire burning inside me with the dream in my heart, and I am seeing God bring it to pass as never before. Yes, and the dream gets even bigger because God knew I could never contain all He had in mind when He first began to give us the dream.
You have been an encourager in the process, too. I, too, became embroiled in the problems and challenges of day-to-day survival in mnistry. I remember when you called the dream forward again and threw fuel on the fire in my heart! Thank you, Pastor!

“There are two basic reasons Christianity in America is held captive in church: fear of the world or love of the world. ” I believe that to be a fact. Learning how to let Him live His life through me has been in part an ongoing process of learning what to hold on to and what to let go of. The freer I get in the letting go process, the more free I become in thinking more of others than I do myself. Loving others and concern for others’ needs becomes more and more a passion. Church helps to equip me to see things of God from a fresh perspective or deepen revelations God has given to me. I love the new “Random AOL.” There are vistas of Christian witness–like street ministry–that I have only lightly explored.

We love your messages to us, Dr. Steve. Reading them gives us a chance to “cogitate.” Thank you for taking the time to input into our lives.

Ed and I are going to a 5AM prayer meeting at a Baptist church in our community. It has been a wonderful experience for us as we find brothers and sisters of another denomination willing to get out of bed before 5AM and come together for an hour and a half of fellowship and prayer. This is a major “getting out of the box” in our area! We are expecting great things for our community and beyond to come from this.

Oh so true Brother/Pastor/Dr. Steve. “The Church” is not salty and is growing less salty as the entire world around it gets darker and darker. God never intended His Church to be confined inside four walls filled with people only 1 to 2 hours a week. It is high time for God’s remnant to to get to work.
